THANKS MICHELE, FROM ALL OF US AT WILLING HEARTS DAL RESCUE!!

The people who commit themselves to the work of rescuing and helping dogs find that tragedy is an all - too - often, unavoidable part of the job. But none of us were prepared for the tragedy that struck on June 21.   In a senseless accident we lost Michele Duprey, who was without a doubt, one of the most vibrant people we have ever known.

Her energies were spread between her mom, the children she taught, the young women she coached, the dogs she loved and helped, her family, friends and teammates. None of those groups ever thought they were getting less than the very best from Michele. No matter what the circumstances were, no matter what the challenge, Michele found the humor in it.

Her willingness to help Dalmatians in shelters never wavered. She did everything she possibly could whenever she could.

To the dogs she rescued and fostered, to the families whose lives she enriched, to all of us who knew her doggie side she was a blessing. The only thing that makes Michele's loss bearable is the memory of her caring spirit she shared with us before she left.

On June 21, 2008 Willing Hearts lost a good friend. We will miss her.
