Jinga, J-Lo and Panda
Joy came to us on January 8, 2009. We had been anticipating their arrival from
A rescue angel from SC
drove them all the way to PA in a blizzard to meet me. They
were so sweet but I could tell they were not feeling well. We thought
it was the long trip that had them feeling poorly. We took
them home and got them all comfy and cozy. We had a vet appt set
for 12th of January. They were awful thin but
eating and
drinking well.
January 12, 2009. Upon examination the vet
diagnosed them with mange. He gave them an injection of
Ivermectin, a dhlpp vaccination and fecal
that found hook and round worms. Back home with meds and what
we hoped would be the road to
recovery.
January 16, 2009. I noticed
blood in their stool. Panda Joy was
becoming lethargic and
wanted nothing to do with
her sisters.
I knew she was in
trouble. We
rushed her to the vet
and he did a parvo test and he gave us the
devastating news that it was positive.
We admitted her that day and I
called my daughter to bring the other two pups over to be
checked.
Dr Moss recommended that he keep JLo and
Jinga too. We went home empty handed and fearing
the worst but knowing they were in good hands. Chelsea,
their nurse at the
clinic called every day with updates. They were cared for around the clock.

Sunday, January 18,
2009 I got a call
that Panda Joy passed.
home with
family or with hospital staff where they get
the best of care. Thank you,
Jinga and J-Lo are still testing positive every day for
Parvo. They are hanging in there and I am so hoping the doctor will call
and tell me they are well and beat the odds and can come
home.
January 22, 2009 It's been
a week and finally the daily call is a good one! They are eating and
drinking and driving
They can come
home!
January 23, 2009 we truck

January 28, 2009 All is going fine with the

does not seem to happen which is of course fine!! Happy and active

lucky families will be matched up with some super great
girls!!!!
Their bill as of

debt. Click on the puppy's individual pictures to see each bill.
